This paper
is based on
ภาษาผู้ไทสำหรับบุคลากรทางการแพทย์
(Phutai Language for Medicals)
which was written in Thai and aimed at
Thai medicals and other Central Thai speakers, who are not familiar
with the Phu Tai language, but have come to work in the Phu Tai area
of Khao Wong District,
Kalasin Province, NE-Thailand in order to make it easier for them to
deal with elder Phu Tai patients in a professional context.
This paper is in the process of being translated and extended and
will hopefully (soon) be useful for foreigners with some basic
knowledge in Thai and interest in linguistics and minority
languages.
